Today my new CODE hat arrived in the mail. It’s a mesh Trucker cap in color Navy with the word CODE printed on it.
I purchased the CODE hat from Aivars Meijers, an iOS developer whose iOS development focused YouTube channel I’m subscribed to.
In May 2021 I was looking for a coding-themed “thinking cap” to wear while coding and Aivers happened to be wearing his coding hat in his “What Programming Language you should Learn first” video. The color and design of Aivers’s coding hat was exactly what I was looking for.
In a comment to his video I asked Aivars where he bought the hat and he replied that his coding hat was two years-old, already falling part, and no longer being sold. He added that he was in the process of designing his own version of the CODE hat to replace his current hat, and that he planned on making his redesigned CODE hat available for sale on his merchandise shop.
A couple weeks later Aiver posted his “I created CODE hat and you can get one too” video.
I purchased the CODE hat on August 2, 2021 and it was delivered today, August 6, 2021.
This morning while shopping at Costco I bought a 32 oz bag of Peet’s Coffee, Major Dickason’s Blend, whole bean. I’m now searching for a “I Turn Coffee Into iOS Apps” or similarly themed coffee mug.
